Banani DOHS Porishod
Banani DOHS Porishod is the residents’ association of Banani DOHS, Dhaka Cantonment. It maintains the estate’s security, roads, lighting, mosque, community hall and cultural life on behalf of the residents, and collects the service charge that pays for them.
The Porishod is governed by an Executive Committee elected by the residents. The election is conducted under the Office of the Cantonment Executive Officer, Dhaka Cantonment, which declares the result — the Porishod holds no RJSC or NGO Bureau registration, as a cantonment residents’ association is constituted through the cantonment authority rather than through those registers.
