Health Care Center
On 2 July 2026, a child health campaign was successfully conducted at the Banani DOHS Health Care Center, courtesy of the Medical Department of Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC). As part of this initiative, 32 children received Vitamin A capsules/supplements, while 12 children were vaccinated against Measles, contributing to the protection and well-being of young children in the community. The program was formally inaugurated by the Honourable Chairperson Madam and the Honourable President Sir of the Banani DOHS Council. Their presence and encouragement added significance to this important public health initiative. The Banani DOHS Council extends its sincere gratitude and heartfelt appreciation to the Medical Department of DNCC, all participating children and their parents, residents, and everyone involved in making this community health campaign a success. Through collective efforts and cooperation, such initiatives continue to promote a healthier and safer community for all.
Morning Football Tournament – Banani DOHS Playground
The Morning Football Tournament was successfully held at the Banani DOHS Playground in a vibrant and energetic atmosphere. Cleaner Welfare Initiative by Banani DOHS Porishod
As part of its commitment to employee welfare and appreciation, Banani DOHS Porishod distributed T-shirts and shoes to its cleaning staff. Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) Signing Ceremony
As-salamu Alaikum. Alhamdulillah, we are pleased to inform all residents that on 14 June 2026, an MOU (Memorandum of Understanding) was signed between Banani DOHS Porishod and ZettaByte Technologies for the development of the Banani DOHS Community App and Website. This community service initiative aims to transform Banani DOHS into a modern, safe, and digitally connected community. The App and Website will provide residents with a single platform to access important community services, including emergency support, safety and security features, healthcare information, community announcements, verified service providers, blood, plasma & skin donor information, and many other useful facilities. Residents will also soon be able to pay various community service charges online, book community facilities such as the Community Hall and Madhobi Lounge, publish advertisements and To-Let notices, and access other digital services without unnecessary paperwork or inconvenience. Residents will be able to conveniently access many of these community services anytime, from anywhere in the world, through the Banani DOHS Community App and Website. Over time, the platform will continue to expand with additional services for the benefit of our community. The MOU ensures that all resident information will remain the exclusive property of Banani DOHS Porishod, will be kept strictly confidential, and will be used only for the development, operation, and maintenance of the Community App and Website. To make this initiative successful, we sincerely request the cooperation of all residents by providing their verified information when requested. The website will be accessible to everyone, while access to the Community App will be available only to registered and verified residents. Without the necessary information, it will not be possible to activate your account on the App or provide you with its personalized digital services. Screenshots of some of its features are shared here. However, it is not yet operational. In Shaa Allah, it will become fully functional very soon after the payment gateway integration is completed. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony was held between the Banani DOHS Council and Zettabyte Technology for the development and management of the DOHS Banani Website and DOHS Communal App. Representatives from both parties attended the event and exchanged views on strengthening collaboration to enhance digital services for the residents of Banani DOHS. This initiative is expected to play a significant role in advancing digital transformation and improving the quality and accessibility of community services.
Lease Agreement
A cordial and well-organized contract signing ceremony was held to mark the signing of a four-year agreement between our Annex Building and Jaber & Jobayer Fabrics Ltd. Representatives from both parties attended the event and formally signed the agreement based on mutual trust, cooperation, and professionalism. This agreement marks the beginning of a long-term and productive partnership between the two organizations. All participants expressed their optimism for the successful implementation of future activities and the continued growth and prosperity of both parties through mutual cooperation. The ceremony concluded successfully in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
Qurbani Waste Removal Drive
To ensure a clean, hygienic, and healthy environment during Eid-ul-Adha, Banani DOHS Porishod, with the approval of the Dhaka Cantonment Board, conducted a Qurbani waste removal drive. The initiative focused on the timely collection and disposal of sacrificial waste, helping maintain cleanliness and protect public health. Banani DOHS Porishod sincerely appreciates the cooperation of all residents in making this operation successful.
Qurbani Meat Distribution Initiative
On the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha, the residents of Banani DOHS came together in a generous community initiative by donating Qurbani meat for the welfare of Banani DOHS Porishod's office staff, security guards, cleaners, and other support personnel. This thoughtful initiative reflected the true spirit of Eid—sacrifice, compassion, and sharing with others. Banani DOHS Porishod sincerely thanks all the residents whose kindness and generosity helped make this meaningful effort a success, strengthening the bond and sense of community within Banani DOHS.
Corporate Health Agreement between UMCH and Banani DOHS Porishod
On 2 May 2026, Universal Medical College Hospital (UMCH) and Banani DOHS Porishod signed a Corporate Health Agreement to provide quality healthcare services to the members of Banani DOHS and their families. Under this agreement, members will enjoy special discounts on consultations, diagnostic tests, emergency services, inpatient care, and other medical facilities. The partnership also offers priority appointments, faster healthcare access, and 24/7 emergency support, ensuring convenient and affordable medical services for the Banani DOHS community. This collaboration reflects the shared commitment of both organizations to promoting better healthcare and improving the overall well-being of Banani DOHS residents.
Annual General Meeting-2025
The Annual General Meeting 2025 of Banani DOHS Porishod was held in a well-organized and pleasant atmosphere at the Community Hall. The annual activities and financial report were presented, and members engaged in meaningful discussions about future development plans. The meeting concluded beautifully and successfully.
Victory day Rally-2025
Victory Day Rally–2025 was celebrated in Banani DOHS with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit. The rally was organized to commemorate Victory Day, a historic day marking the independence of Bangladesh. Local residents, students, and members of various social organizations actively participated in the rally. Participants carried national flags, banners, and placards, and marched in an orderly manner. Patriotic songs and slogans were presented throughout the event, highlighting the spirit of the Liberation War. The main objective of the rally was to inspire the younger generation with the history of the Liberation War and strengthen national unity. Victory Day is observed on December 16, remembering the surrender of the Pakistani forces in Dhaka in 1971, which led to the final victory of the nation.
Lift Inauguration
On 9 September 2025, the lift inauguration ceremony was held at the building of Banani DOHS Parishad. The event was attended by respected members of the Parishad, invited guests, and local residents. This inauguration marked another important milestone in the modernization of the building and the enhancement of its services. With the installation of the new lift, access to the building has become easier, faster, and safer for everyone, particularly for elderly individuals and persons with physical challenges. This initiative reflects the ongoing commitment to infrastructure development and to ensuring improved facilities for all.

On 29 August 2025, the Banani DOHS Jame Masjid was officially inaugurated.
Pohela Boishakh 1432
On the occasion of Pohela Boishakh, various colorful programs were organized at the premises of the Banani DOHS Council. Traditional bullock carts, a Ferris wheel, and bioscope shows added extra joy for everyone. There was a wide variety of fun and traditional foods. The entire area became lively with folk music and different musical performances. By taking part in this festive celebration, everyone was united in joy and harmony.
