Return and Refund Policy

This Return and Refund Policy applies to payments made through the official website of Banani DOHS Porishod using the online payment gateway, including service charges, event hall fees, fees or payments for marketplace services, and donations. As the Porishod primarily collects payments of this kind, most amounts are non-refundable once a billing period has begun, an event has taken place, or the related service or donation has been received. Refund eligibility for each type of payment is described below.

A refund may be considered in the following cases:

• A duplicate payment was made in error for the same due or service.
• A payment was made for an event or service that was subsequently cancelled by the Porishod.
• A technical error resulted in an incorrect amount being charged.

Refunds are not available for service charges once the relevant billing period has commenced, or for marketplace fees once the related service has been provided, except where required by law.

To request a refund, the payer must contact the Porishod in writing at info@dohsbanani.org within 7 days of the transaction, providing the transaction reference number, the date of payment, and the reason for the request.

Once a refund request is verified and approved, the refund will be processed within 7 to 10 working days. The amount will be credited to the original payment method used at the time of purchase, subject to the processing time of the relevant bank or card issuer.

Where a member books the event hall or another Porishod facility requiring advance registration, a cancellation made at least 7 days before the event may be eligible for a full or partial refund of the Event Hall Fee at the discretion of the Porishod. Cancellations made after this period, and no shows, are not eligible for a refund.

Certain payments, including but not limited to service charges, fees or payments for marketplace services, and donations, are non-refundable and non-cancellable once processed, except where required by law. This will be clearly indicated to the member at the time of payment.

Donations made to the Porishod are non-refundable once received, except in the case of a duplicate payment or a verified technical error. Donation refund requests are handled under the same process described in section 2 above.
